Differentiated question banks - personalising content
Arcadu’s intelligent question banks include over 7000 questions covering Level 3 to GSCE A* ensuring a wide range of ability levels are catered for. Students automatically receive questions within their ability range to ensure they remain motivated and challenged to succeed and progress. Teachers select the starting level for each student and can choose between allocating based on age or by editing on an individual basis to fully personalise learning. All of Arcadu’s features fully support additional school content via a simple process allowing staff to quickly add their own bank of questions using a range of question styles. These can be for a single level or across a range of abilities.
Entertaining and Motivating Students
The Arcadu philosophy is to provide what 21st Century learners demand and entertain, engage and motivate students using the most relevant and up to date technology to stimulate learning and progress. With 10 Arcade Quality games covering over 80 challenges students are able to play whilst they learn ensuring they remain entertained and challenged. Arcadu’s thousands of Avatar combinations allow each student to fully personalise their learning centre. A range of Class, Year Group, Whole School and National League Tables are used to celebrate student achievements and motivate learners. We’ve developed the best quality entertainment based learning system and over the coming months and years ahead we will continue to listen to students and schools and further develop these features to include additional functionality and reward systems.
Reports
Our detailed yet simple to use reports provide a range of information ensuring class teachers, middle leaders and Senior Leadership teams are fully informed of the progress and usage in each subject, year group, by class and by individual learner. Following requests by parents for regular feedback on their child’s progress Arcadu provides fully automated monthly reports to parents ensuring school and parent partnerships flourish.
Notices & Tasks
Arcadu’s easily accessible notice board enables staff to set alternative homework and also provides a simple and effective communication channel to students by year group, subject, individual class or student. Arcadu’s calendar system allows students to add, edit and remove tasks from their calendar ensuring they are fully informed of important events. Each Arcadu challenge clearly states the dates they are set and due to enable students to meet deadlines.
